About a month ago, I was contacted by the editor of Golf Course Industry Magazine asking if I had any special turf management tricks or anecdotes that helped get the golf course through this past summer. There were several changes in my turf management prior to and during the stressful summer, but one practice stood out in my mind as being instrumental in surviving the hot and humid season.
