Enlarged false front, closely mown approach and 95-year old erosion channels have created a collection area for golf balls on #13. The high concentration of divots and wear required action. Below is a movie slide show illustrating the renovation of #13 Approach.

Approximately 30 yards of topsoil were hauled in to eliminate the swales which were re-directing rolling golf balls into the collection area. The rough was expanded to intercept balls coming back down the hill. This renovation should help reduce the potential for a collection area to develop.
Harrison, Brennen and the Crew did a fantastic job reworking this area. It will take the sod 10-14 days to redvelop it's root system and may be unstable. Please be careful retrieving your golf ball.
